See what Ireland has in store for you
Burren Glamping is a converted horse truck on a free range traditional farm in The Burren, Co Clare. Our cosy vintage horse truck has been creatively and skillfully transformed into a unique and bespoke farm accommodation. In Ireland we call it 'Glamping' which is short for 'Glamorous Camping'. You get all the benefits of camping without any of the hardships. The Glamping Truck is comfortable and spacious, fully insulated with a wood burning stove and an electric shower and a flush toilet. Two double beds are snugly fit over the truck cabin and a handmade settle bed doubles up as a twin bed, while used as a couch during the day. So in total it sleeps six people. Situated right between rolling green hills and iron age earthen ringforts on the edge of the unique Burren landscape. Enjoy the nature right on our doorstep, where no light pollution allows you to star gaze at night, no sound pollution allows you to listen to the wild birds and no air pollution allows, Fill your lungs with clean fresh air. A very private quiet country side setting for you to experience the Irish welcome. We also love to offer our guest home cooked meals made from our own free range eggs, award winning free range pork and home grown or locally sourced vegetables. We offer breakfasts, lunch or dinner or a picnic basket for your day out exploring, all freshly made in our farm kitchen by Eva. The farm animals consist of rare breed pigs, free range of course, as well as cattle, two donkeys, hens and ducks, two dogs and a cat. We breed all our own young, so depending on the time of the year you will be able to see little cute piglets or calves first hand. Stephen is a native Burren Tour guide, he knows the area very well and can give great advise on what to see or can even bring you to see hidden gems in the neighbourhood. Awarded winners in 2017 of the Welcome Standard at the Irish Breakfast awards by Georgina Campbell and Failte Ireland and also received the Natural Food Award 2017 by Georgina Campbell.
