In Armagh, where St Patrick's legacy is still felt today, you can celebrate the life of Ireland’s patron saint at the Home of St Patrick Festival. Expect a lively and varied showcase of the best culture, music, song and dance in the place St Patrick called his “sweet little hill”.
Highlights have included a Vigil Walk between the two St Patrick’s Cathedrals, performances from musicians such as Phil Coulter and Sandy Kelly, and a wide range of events about St Patrick himself – including a community parade, walking tours, lectures, and an Aran knitting workshop! Add in film screenings and storytelling sessions, and you're assured of a jam-packed schedule to enjoy.
