See what Ireland has in store for you
Hatch is a traditional Irish kitchen, Located in the very heart of Dublin on St. Stephen’s Green. Diners are warmly welcomed into the airy and light-filed south-facing basement of this landmark Georgian townhouse, as they would be into somebody’s home. They are treated to wholesome, honest food; an Irish breakfast comes in a skillet on an Irish oak board, chicken salad comes with a buttermilk dressing and the scones come hot from the oven. Dishes prepared simply using the best of what’s available locally – from meat, milk and eggs to flour, rapeseed oil and salad leaves – everything is Irish (except, occasionally, the tomatoes). The fuss-free menu works throughout the day, so whether it’s a light breakfast, lunch, or pit-stop for coffee or Barry’s tea and something sweet, Hatch and Sons delivers all day and every day. This kitchen is open until 9pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays - perfect for a cheese or smoked fish board with a glass of wine or Irish craft beer, or indeed for a full three-course supper. Opening hours are Mon-Tues 8am-5pm; Weds-Thurs 8am-9pm; Fri 8am-5pm; Sat 9am-6pm; Sun 11am-5pm.
