Boyne Valley Activities in Ireland's Ancient East, offers you a different way of exploring the spectacular Boyne Valley in County Meath. Boyne Valley Activities aim to develop and promote the Boyne Valley as a premier activities and eco tourism destination. There is over 12kms of river for you to explore and have the perfect day out. You can take a short kayaking trip or go on a long, meandering journey deep into the idyllic Meath countryside. Solo kayaking trips can also be arranged. There are pick up points along the way so you can paddle at your own pace. Boyne Valley Activities provides all the transport, guides and equipment needed. Drifting along on the River Boyne with Boyne Valley Activities is a different way of travelling. Soak up the historic sights as you paddle along and enjoy the stunning riverside scenery. There is over 5,000 years of history in the Boyne Valley, with ancient ruins and castles around every bend. The Boyne Valley has Europe’s largest collection of Neolithic art. Boyne Valley Activities use giant inflatable rafts to carry historical tour groups along the river. They offer a wide range of eco tourism experiences and high octane activities including, archery sessions. Boyne Valley Activities are based in the heritage town of Trim. One of Ireland's heritage towns, Trim once had the oldest and largest religious settlements in the country. The town is dominated by the medieval Trim Castle. Boyne Valley Activities are located between Trim playground and Trim Pitch and Putt Club. They are only a 45 minute drive from Dublin City and is accessible from all major routes.
