Caitins Pub & Accommodation in Kells is perched above the sea overlooking Dingle Bay, with breath taking sea views. Caitins is a traditional family run pub with accommodation located in Kells on the N70 main Ring of Kerry road midway between Glenbeigh and Cahirciveen, County Kerry. Owned by the Golden family for over five generations it is steeped in history. Caitins was once called The O'Connell Arms in recognition of Daniel O'Connell the famous Irish statesman who used to change his horses there on his way to and from parliament in London. Caitins also has a unique collection of old photographs and memorabilia on display of local scenes from the late 1800's, including the building of the Great Southern and Western Railway line from Farranfore to Valentia Harbour, eviction scenes from the same era and the 1867 Fenian Rising. Caitins is a warm and welcoming pub, where locals and visitors meet to enjoy a great pint and great music.....see you there!
