See what Ireland has in store for you
Explore Belfast’s historic waterfront. Dive into Belfast’s seafaring history and begin at City Quays with the historic Clarendon Docks and Sailortown, St Joseph’s Church, Belfast Harbour Commissioners’ Offices and Sinclair Seamen’s Church. Take in the sights, sounds and smells of Belfast’s stunning waterfront as you walk past the Big Fish and across the Lagan Weir Footbridge to Titanic Quarter, passing some of the city’s greatest attractions such as the SS Nomadic, Titanic Belfast, the Great Light and the Thompson Dock, and experience the Maritime Mile’s wonderful eateries and first-class accommodation. Pick up a map from AC Hotel, Titanic Hotel Belfast or the Dock Café and put your navigational skills to the test as you explore Belfast’s historic waterfront on the Maritime Mile Blueway Trail. Keep an eye out for information panels along the way, then complete the online quiz for a chance to win free family passes to Titanic Belfast or W5! Download an online version of the Blueway map via the Maritime Mile website. The Maritime Mile is brought to you by Maritime Belfast Trust, the charity responsible for preserving Belfast’s maritime and industrial heritage.
