See what Ireland has in store for you
Explore the beautiful Vale of Avoca with a guided walking tour. Learn of our ancient past, experience breath taking scenery and be intrigued with our natural history. We are the only walking tour in Avoca and provide a memorable day in an enjoyable relaxed atmosphere. Whether you enjoy history, nature, scenery or an afternoon walk this tour offers it all and more!! Our looped walk typically lasts over three hours and is a great way to learn about this corner of the Garden of Ireland. See the famous "Meetings of the Waters", be enthralled by the Avoca Mines and have your cameras ready for a landscape view of the entire Wicklow Mountain range. We walk at a leisurely pace and cover a distance of almost 10km, stopping for lunch along the way!! We walk, we talk, we laugh and we all enjoy the experience. The Guided Walk includes a packaged lunch and bottled water, refer to the website for prices. Group bookings are also available. The walk has been featured in an entire episode of R.T.E.'s (Irish National T.V) "Tracks & Trails" in the 2017 schedule, where we were joined by food celebrities "The Happy Pear". So why not join the many previous ramblers and come to the Vale of Avoca, Co. Wicklow for a thoroughly enjoyable tour. Our Season Starts in April and runs through to the end of October. PRIOR BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL ON EACH OF OUR TOURS. Refer to the website for more details. Did you Know??The RED KITE was re-introduced to Ireland in the Avoca area between 2007 - 2011. Today these amazing birds are regularly Spotted during our walking tours.
