See what Ireland has in store for you
Create memories, and jewellery with a relaxing visit to NI Silver. Located in the beautiful location of Holywood, a short drive or train ride from Belfast, NI Silver is ready to welcome you for a fully immersive experience, suitable for all, during which you'll learn how to make your own jewellery. No experience or artistic ability is required. Ruth, your host for the 'Made By You' workshop, spent years in Malaysia where she discovered her passion for making jewellery. Upon her return to Ireland, she felt a desire to create jewellery that captured the true beauty of Northern Ireland’s landscape, history and people; special pieces that would always remind her, and her clients, of home, no matter where they were in the world. Falling in love not just with the craft, but with the memories she made – Ruthwanted to share that experience and "love of home" with as many people as possible. She has been running her immersive jewellery making experiences ever since, and to huge success. Expect to spend a time learning, crafting and creating something beautiful in her contemporary studio, before sitting down for a well-earned cup of tea overlooking the stunning Belfast Lough. The experience lasts for around three and a half hours, and offers a great opportunity to spend quality time with friends or family. You will each leave with your own hand made, high-quality piece of silver or gold jewellery, as well as a new skillset to boast about and of course, your life-long memories. As Ruth says, that’s what an experience like this is all about - getting involved and understanding the processes involved.
