Walk through a hedge maze and get lost in the wooden maze at the Kildare Maze, in County Kildare. In the Hedge Maze, the challenge is to find your way through 1.5 acres of hedge, lined with paths to the viewing tower at the centre of the maze. You are sure to get lost but guaranteed to have lots of fun finding your way with over 2kms of paths to explore. The Wooden Maze is an exciting time challenge and the route is changed regularly to keep everyone guessing. From the maze viewing tower, enjoy spectacular sights of the surrounding countryside or simply enjoy views over the maze below, revealing the layout. St Brigid, who was the patron saint of Kildare, was the inspiration for the maze design, which comprises of the St Brigid’s cross located within the four quadrants with the centre of the maze representing the centre of the cross. There is also an adventure trail, zip wire, assault course and crazy golf available at Kildare Maze. For the younger visitors, there is a toddler’s play area.
