Drop in any day to savour home baked treats and snack in our ocean-view cafe, use our meditation room, light butterlamps (light offerings), ramble the river walk and coastal meadows or to relax in beautiful gardens with spectacular Atlantic views. The friendly cafe offers gourmet coffees and teas, tasty snacks and delicious lunches, cooked with local organic ingredients. Self catering accommodation includes secluded cliff top cottages, en suite private rooms with ocean view conservatories, breakfast included, and Garranes Farmhouse Hostel. Dzogchen Beara holds a year round programme of public on site retreats and online events based on the wisdom and compassion of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Most events are suitable for beginners and include visits by world renowned teachers and authors as well as a variety of meditation retreats led by experienced western pratictioners. We look forward to opening our new temple in late 2023.
