Aran Islands Camping & Glamping is situated on Inis Mór, the largest of the three Aran Islands. Overlooking Frenchman’s beach with panoramic views across Galway Bay, it is located directly in the centre of Ireland’s western trail, The Wild Atlantic Way. The Aran Islands are renowned for their stunning landscape and Inis Mór is home to one of Ireland’s few World Heritage Sites. The campsite is adjacent to the beach and has three organic grass fields as well as custom handmade rock walls which create a secure enclosure. Guests can cook and eat together in the large kitchen equipped with electric cookers, fridges, kettles, toasters, dishware, cutlery, pots and pans. Laundry facilities and a building with separate shower rooms for men and women are also on site. The Clochán and The Tigín are two self-catering glamping options. The Clochán can accommodate up to four people and is equipped with one double bed, one single sofa-bed with one single pull-out bed, kitchen facilities (kettle, microwave, small fridge, dishware and cutlery), table and chairs,WC and shower. The Tigín accommodate up to six people and is equipped with two single bunk beds, one single sofa-bed with one single pull-out bed, kitchen facilities (kettle, microwave, small fridge, dishware and cutlery), table and chairs, WC and shower. Glamping guests are also provided with bed linen and towels. Perfect for a short break or an extended family holiday, it is within walking distance of the main ferry terminal at Kilronan and offers a unique camping adventure or glamping experience.
