Follow in the footsteps of the last passengers to board the Titanic at the historic White Star Line building.

April 11 1912. One hundred and twenty-three people board “the Ship of Dreams” in the bustling seaside town of Cobh (then known as Queenstown) before its ill-fated maiden voyage across the Atlantic to New York. The rest is history. At the Titanic Experience Cobh, you'll uncover this tragic tale in great detail on a guided tour. From cabin reconstructions and stories from your expert guide to original artefacts from survivors and more, the details of how the Titanic met its tragic end are made intimate and personal within this unique visitor attraction. You’ll even receive a boarding card for one of the travellers who came to the ticket office at this very spot more than 100 years ago.

You’ll need around an hour to enjoy this attraction to the full. After that, you’re free to explore the beautiful heritage town of Cobh. Visit the strikingly tall St Colman’s Cathedral, stroll along the colourful harbour (which is the second-largest natural harbour in the world) and take a boat out to Spike Island, a star-shaped fortress known as Ireland’s Alcatraz. To keep the Titanic theme going, embark on the Titanic Trail, a guided waling tour around town that reveals locations directly related to the infamous ship. Don’t miss the Annie Moore statue outside Cobh Heritage Centre – a poignant monument honouring the first immigrant to be processed at Ellis Island in 1892.
