See what Ireland has in store for you
Originally established by Mr. Donie O'Sullivan in the late 1960s, today Killarney Riding Stables remains a family affair and is run by Donie and his wife Noreen, son William and daughters Lorraine and Aoife. Located just two kilometres from the heart of Killarney town in County Kerry and close to the world renowned Killarney National Park, this is an area of great natural beauty and a joy to explore on horseback. Killarney Riding Stables, which are approved by AIRE, are delighted to offer hacking, trekking and trail riding in the national park for one, two and three hour excursions. Riders ride in the way that they’re most comfortable with, from a gentle walk to a lively canter over wood and parkland terrain. For longer visits, riders can try the Killarney Reeks or Ring of Kerry Trail Ride, two to five days long taking in mountains, beach, bog, forestry and country lanes.
