Take the road less travelled in a customised, leather seated, Land Rover Defender Jeep through Inis Mór (Inishmore). This is the only type of vehicle that can access these remote island roads. Enjoy the magnificent views of the iconic Irish stone walls, lush green fields and the wild Atlantic Ocean. The Aran Off Road Experience provide guided walks to attractions like, Poll na bPéist (The Wormhole). This is a natural geographical phenomenon and rectangular shaped pool carved out of the rock by the Atlantic Ocean. It is one of the most visited places on the island. Visit the oratory at Teampall Bheanáin (St Benan's Church) one of the smallest 11th century churches in Europe. See the Blue Flag sandy beach at Cill Mhuirbhigh (Kilmurvey) and Dún Eochla Fort the highest point of the island. Visit the world famous UNESCO Heritage Site at Dún Aonghasa (Dun Aengus), a 3,000 year-old stone fort, standing 100 metres above the Atlantic Ocean. Look out for a unique variety of flora and fauna on the island including, Alpine and Mediterranean plants. Leave Inis Mór (Inishmore) with a lasting impression and many special memories having experienced the local language, culture, traditions, landscape and history of this great island.
