See what Ireland has in store for you
Let Galway City Cycle Tours show you Galway, which has many interesting places to visit from the Wild Atlantic Way to the banks of the Eglington Canal and the Corrib River. Starting at St. Judes Lodge B&B on College Road, you will cycle to the Famine Monument and Nimmos Pier. Cutting through the west you visit the home of actor and author Walter Macken and continue onto the beautiful and peaceful Eglington canal. Entering the grounds of the National University of Ireland Galway, you will be transported back to 1849 when it’s first students enrolled in this majestic establishment. Riverside walkways with wildlife and rushes that wave at you as you cycle by. Returning then to the old industrial heartland, now a charming walkway of canals bridges and waterfalls which guide you to the city centre full of medieval relics and memories and charming narrow streets buzzing with life that lead you back to the harbour, Spanish Arch and the must visit Museum.
