Lose your heart to racing in the magical setting of Bellewstown Racecourse. From your vantage point on the Hill of Crockafotha in County Meath, delight in the views of the Mountains of Mourne to the north and the Irish Sea to the east and, of course, the best view of all, the horses. When you think of summer racing, your lingering memories will be the smell of strawberries and cream and freshly mown hay. With a friendliness and ease that can be harder to find in the bigger racecourses, Bellewstown Racecourse welcomes you to the fold and promises you a visit of fun, excitement and many happy memories. The tradition of summer racing at Bellewstown Racecourse dates back centuries and was first recorded in 1726. With two festivals, one in the first week of July and the other at the end of August, you simply have to put Bellewstown on your itinerary.
