We welcome you to our fireside for tea and a chat. Offering light lunches, traditional baking, and luxury Irish ice cream in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Centrally located 100m from the beach, Teach an Tae also provides an internet café. Overlooking Galway Bay in a unique 1800’s home, the tea rooms offer a charming respite from the everyday. We assure quality and value by offering only our own organic soups, scones, soda bread, cakes, and preserves. Freshly-baked produce, made daily with eggs from our flock of hens, this is what ‘homemade’ is supposed to mean! Teach an Tae also has genuine Aran knitwear and other one-of-a-kind crafts made by local artisans.
