Tankardstown House exudes elegance and luxury and is truly a special place to stay. Less than an hour's drive from Dublin, but seeming like a million miles from anywhere, this is an idyllic location for a relaxing break away, a celebration or a special occasion. Tankardstown comprises an 18th century Manor House, adjoining Orangery, a choice of accommodation options, and lower courtyard where dining takes place in 2AA Restaurant, Brabazon. Casual lunch is served Wednesday-Sunday, while fine dining with a choice of tasting menus can be enjoyed in the evening. Guests can choose to slumber in a Main House Heritage Bedroom, beautifully appointed Courtyard Cottage, the opulent Lodge or the newly renovated Barn and Stables, where friendly and discreet service is assured at all times. Tankardstown also welcomes dogs to the estate where they are welcome to stay in our Courtyard Cottages or Barn bedrooms. Tankardstown House is ideally situated in the Boyne Valley, close to the World Heritage Site of Newgrange, The Battle of the Boyne Site, Slane Distillery and The Hill of Tara, to name a few. Tankardstown is also part of the Boyne Valley Garden Trail and guests can expect to enjoy dining on produce from the Walled Kitchen Garden and polytunnels on the Estate in Brabazon Restaurant.
