City Kayaking Dublin operate from a base at Dublin City Moorings, where the Jeanie Johnston Tall Ship is tied up. Situated on the River Liffey beside the IFSC, right in the heart of Dublin City Centre, City Kayaking are the only operators offering adventure activities on the River Liffey in Dublin City Centre. City Kayaking Dublin is one of the best things to do in Dublin both during the day and in the evening! Tours are operated at high tide and low tide. With 90 minutes on the water, you'll have time to explore Dublin’s most famous river, take in some of the city’s most iconic landmarks and see the city from a completely different angle on a kayak! The company will kit you out with all the relevant safety gear and you’ll be on your way before you know it. The qualified guides and safety boats ensure the highest standard of safety while you’re on the water. The company operates sit-on-top kayaks which are very stable. These kayaks are single, double or triple seaters which are really safe and easy to use. It is advisable that you bring a change of clothes. Changing rooms on site have facilities for you to store your belongings. The activity takes place rain or shine. It is only cancelled in the rare case of especially high winds. Come for a "Music Under the Bridges" live music session on the water where the acoustics and atmosphere are magical. This activity is suitable for children from 8 yrs and up. Participants under 18 yrs must have a parent/supervising adult present at all times. The nearest private paid car parking, Park Rite IFSC Commons Street is only a few minutes walk.
