The Demesne is a beautiful large apartment that serves as the perfect retreat for a well-earned, relaxing break in the countryside of County Cork. This three-star self-catering apartment is situated at the east wing of a beautiful 18th-century farmhouse in Castlemartyr. It is surrounded by 100 hectares of mixed farming land and the peaceful wooded countryside. The lands were once owned by Sir Walter Raleigh. Inside, guests will find a large, comfortable sitting room with open log fire and TV. They can also make use of the well-equipped kitchen, complete with electric cooker, refrigerator/freezer, toaster and microwave. The master bedroom features a double bed and wash basin, while the second bedroom has two single beds and a wash basin. The bathroom includes a bath/shower unit for the convenience of guests. Additionally, a cot is available. The cottage also features a combined utility and play room with washing machine, tumble dryer and snooker table. Outside, garden furniture allows guests to make the most of those warm, sunny days. The apartment is non-smoking and pets are not allowed. During a stay at The Demesne, guests can simply relax or they can take in the many attractions of the local area. The Capella Hotel features an 18-hole golf course, spa and dining options. There’s also the Old Midleton Distillery, Fota Wildlife Park, Ardmore Historic Seaside Village and charming Youghal Town.
