Seal Rescue Ireland

Come visit Seal Rescue Ireland (SRI), the only seal rescue centre in Ireland, for a unique learning experience. SRI’s visitor centre, located in Courtown, Co Wexford, invites visitors to come meet seal pups while they’re on their road to recovery, take a tour, learn their stories and be inspired to join the efforts in protecting seals in the wild. SRI are offering 1 hour “Seal Feed and Enrichment Experiences” four times per day (10am, 12.30pm, 3pm, 5pm) and visitors must check their website for availability. Go behind the scenes of the hospital, assist the skilled staff in preparing feeds, then visit the pools for the chance to feed the seals. To limit numbers and allow for social distancing, participants must book in advance and are limited to six per group (age restrictions apply). The Virtual Education Programme is available online at no cost. The Virtual Seal Rescue Ireland Experience lets you get up close to the seals at feeding time from home (paid tickets available online). By booking an experience you are supporting SRI’s life saving work, while getting the amazing opportunity to view these marine mammal patients up close.
